SEVEN YEAR KISMET plan tour, album and single

Since forming in 2006, Seven Year Kismet have proved to be one of the hardest working band Metal bands in the UK. Released in 2008, their debut album ‘Not Without Incident’ received critical acclaim and with relentless dedication Seven Year Kismet have notched up over 550 live shows worldwide. Despite suffering a number of line-up changes over the past few years, being flat broke and their departure from UK label Rising Records, SYK have stuck at it. They are now, in their own words, ‘stronger than ever’ and have big plans for the future.

The remainder of 2010 will see them tour across Europe followed by a 17 date tour across South Africa in February 2011. Dates for a UK tour with Criminal and Divine Chaos in November and world tour in 2011 will also be announced in the near future. With two new singles set for release, they will be unleashing the first and a suitably killer accompanying video in October. Alongside all of that Seven Year Kismet are hard at work on a follow up to their debut album, with a release date for their second album planned for early next year.

Seven Year Kismet had this to say on their plans for the future… ‘We are very excited for the next 12 months ahead. We’ve got a ton of big stuff planned including some great tours across the world and a whole new live set to unleash on our fans. Our forthcoming single, ‘The Shame of Grace’, is just a small taster of what to expect from our new album and we’ll be filming the video for this very soon. We have been through a hell of a lot over the past year, both good and very bad in all aspects of band life, but we feel we have soldiered through and are now at a whole new level both musically and mentally…stronger than ever! Watch out for new updates soon.’

Expect to see a lot more from Seven Year Kismet from here on!
